Summer is here! I live right at the foot of the Rockies - a few miles to the West is nothing but mountains all the way to the Pacific, and to the East nothing but plains until you reach the Appalachians. It's the perfect location to see the massive thunderheads that form over the plains, but never be in the storm itself. This shot is a pano of 6 images stitched together. I used a fast shutter speed to get as much details in the clouds as I could, but that silhouetted everything else on the ground. Still creates a cool effect!
