This shot doesn't really have any creative value, but I am so excited about it! I've really been getting into space photography, and wanting to get into deep space photography. I'm currently saving my pennies for a 80mm ED telescope with an EQ mount for long exposure star tracking. Can't wait!
This photo is of the Andromeda Galaxy - It's cropped in quite a bit becuase I only took it with a 35mm f/1.8 lens so it was pretty tiny in the original shot.
This photo consists of around 50 exposures stacked using a program called Deep Sky Stacker. The stacking brings out more details in your subject and also greatly reduces the noise of a long exposure at high ISO.
