I wanted to get the flowing effect on the water, but it wasn't near dark enough to have a slow shutter speed that would allow such a shot. I decided it was a good time to break out the infrared filter again! This is the shot I got. I haven't touched this with any software, this is the image straight from my camera. I kind of wish I had centered the bridge a little more, maybe I'll try this shot again soon and work out the kinks.

on May 7, 2011Thank you everyone for the comments! I have been having a blast with the Infrared filter lately. It turns any scene you shoot into something from mars. And dogdreamzzz, the off center bridge is kind of growing on me as well. I didn't really stop to look at it until you mentioned something! :)

on May 6, 2011Totally agree with John...and...I like the bridge slightly off centered for what it's worth.

Thanks for your comment the other day, this week has been a bit manic and I'll reply in greater depth when the world stops spinning a bit :)
